Gran Paradiso is the development codename for Mozilla’s Firefox 3, an open-source, cross-platform web browser. Built on the Gecko 1.9 engine, it emphasized faster performance, reduced memory usage, stronger security, and improved web standards compliance. Notable additions included the Places system that unified bookmarks and history, the Smart Location Bar (“Awesome Bar”) with intelligent search and ranking, enhanced phishing and malware protection, full-page zoom, and updated download and password managers. Gran Paradiso builds were pre-release test versions intended for developers, testers, and early adopters on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and they led directly to the final Firefox 3 release in 2008.

Gran Paradiso is developed by Mozilla and is used by 3 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 3.0 beta and 3.0. The names of program executable files are firefox.exe, crashreporter.exe and shortboost.exe. Works with htm, html, mfp, xht, spop, xhtml and shtml file types.
